FFWMAG is a fashion magazine based in São Paulo, Brazil. The publication went through a redesign in 2014 on both its art and editorial sides. At that time Augusto Mariotti, FFWMAG’s creative director, built a new a team in order to reposition the magazine as younger and fresher publication covering a gap of this kind of product in the Brazilian market.
For over two years, Augusto Mariotti, Camila Yahn (chief copyrighter) and me (art director) have been working together on FFWMAG, a place where we can experiment new formats of content and design. We managed to broaden the fields We cover beyond fashion, and we started to give space for up and coming makers from varying areas like the arts, music and culture in general. FFWMAG became a showcase for young talents that never had an media space before. There are many photographers, stylists and creatives in general that were first featured here and then went out to collaborate with the mainstream media.
